Our history
Humberto Metz has been working with flooring for many years; in 2013 he opened his first flooring and tile store, back in the Dominican Republic. After working as an installer here in Charlotte, he started Metz Flooring in the fall of 2019.
When Metz Flooring was first established, it was a "Guy with Some Tools and a Van" operation. Over the last five years, the enterprise has grown to include multiple teams in the field, a mobile showroom, a delivery truck, and most recently - our very own storefront!
The Metz family travels regularly to Dalton, Georgia (the Carpet Capital of the World!), for industry training, product updates, mill tours, and more, to stay current with Best Practices and the latest innovations. Our training and quality control for installation teams is designed to ensure long-lasting, quality installations, and to create happy customers.
