When you purchase your carpet from Metz Flooring, the final quote price is 'all inclusive' - it covers materials (carpet, padding, tack strips, transitions/molding/trim), labor (installation), and removal/replacement of large furniture items.

...all we ask is that you remove the small/portable things from the room(s) before we arrive, like laundry baskets, items on top of dressers and shelves, and particularly anything fragile or breakable.

Note: Removal of the previous floor and associated work is quoted separately from installation.

Yes, financing options are available; contact us directly for more details regarding terms and conditions. 

If you choose to hire us for installation but purchase your product elsewhere, you will be responsible for providing:

Floor Covering Material (LVP, Carpet, Hardwood...)

Underlayment or padding as appropriate

Quarter-round/trim and transition pieces

Self-leveler

Stair noses and risers if applicable

Caulking

Wax rings (if bathroom(s) are included in the installation area)

Logistical Planning:

• Make arrangements for pets and small children to be elsewhere for the duration of the installation - power tools and sharp objects will be present, and heavy dust, open doors, and loud noises are unavoidable.
• If you work from home, find an alternative location to be your 'base' while the installation is in progress.
• If you will not be present, coordinate access for the installers in advance.

Home Preparation

• Even if the installation is in an empty house, the HVAC system should be on and running at 'normal' settings for at least 5 days prior to your delivery date. 
• Remove the small/portable things from the room(s) before we arrive, like laundry baskets, items on top of dressers and shelves, and particularly anything fragile or breakable.
• Be prepared for dust settling throughout your house - even rooms that are not getting a new floor. The installation team will clear out construction debris and sweep the area clean when they are finished - however, particularly with hard-surface installations, dust will get everywhere! If you are particular about dust, it is advisable to cover your furniture.
